Pacific Star Auto

Amazing place to service your car !! All staff are friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend this place, it is a family owned/operated business.

I had a great experience taking my car in to have work done at Pacific Star. I initially brought my car into the dealership and was quoted a few thousand dollars but had a gut feeling it was not all necessary. I received an honest assessment of my car at Pacific Star and they fixed what was necessary for half the price. It is a relief to know there is an honest mechanic out there. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

I’ve been taking my cars here since I was 16 years old. I’m 29 now. Always excellent service, communication and quality of work. I live in Ocean Beach now and make the drive down to Chula Vista because I know I can trust these guys to give me a solid deal and great work. It’s always excellent customer service. Today I picked up my girlfriend’s Jeep that had an a/c problem and now the a/c is like new. Couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you again Pacific Star Auto for treating me like family.

My son’s 2005 Chevy truck smelled like gas for months, but I didn’t have a clue where to take it or who to trust to diagnose & fix the issue. Maybe that’s just how old trucks smell? Luckily my friend said it was not normal for it to smell like gas & referred me to Pacific Star Auto. It is located in Chula Vista which is super convenient, so I gave it a try. I was greeted with a smile (by the owner) who then listened to me ramble on about the gas smell, the fact that the air conditioning wasn’t cold and that fact that the engine light turns on and off. Despite my lack of knowledge, he listened & quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me a reasonable quote to resolve. Hours lat…

Guillermo was very helpful and communicative when I needed a new clutch and transmission. Honestly one of the better mechanics I had the pleasure of bringing my car too. If need to get work done I’m definitely going with Guillermo and the crew at Pacific Star Auto! Highly recommend!
